Finance
Interactive visualizations for learning finance by moving the ideas yourself — from statistics and probability basics to time series, and through corporate theories one at a time.
- 1. Statistics and Probability Basics — Time series comes later. First, read the distribution of a single number. The mean is the center, and volatility is the spread. Move the curve and watch: a higher mean shifts the whole curve right, and a larger volatility flattens it.
- 2. Corporate Theories — A firm can fund its business with debt or with equity. Does that choice change what the firm is worth? MM answers no, in a perfect market. With tax, the answer changes. This chapter starts at that benchmark and builds theories one at a time.
